The original developer of the SCCS method for vaccine safety studies, Paddy Farrington, is now retired, but retains a link to the Open University as an emeritus professor. In the past, Heather Whitaker (UK Health Security Agency), Yonas Ghebremichael-Weldesselassie (Open University), Patrick Musonda (University of Zambia) and Mounia Hocine (Public Health France), have worked at the Open University on SCCS methods.
